Ida is the founder of I. De-Heer-Amissah Accounting Inc. (IDA INC.), bringing over 20 years of post-qualification experience as an accountant in various industries, helping clients build their businesses and getting both business and personal clients back on track with being compliant with Canada Revenue Agency.
Prior to working solely for IDA INC. Ida worked at Teed and Company (Surrey) for 14 years and was a Partner for 9 of those years. She also worked as a Management Consultant at KPMG (Ghana), a financial Analyst at Boulders Advisors Ltd. (Ghana) and an Internal Auditor for the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (Ghana).
Ida serves on the boards of the Parish of St. Cuthbert (Delta) and The Restored House Chapel (Surrey), both not-for-profit organizations. She is a Chartered Professional Account (CPA). Ida became a member of the Certified General Accountants (CGA) in 2005, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK in 2004 and graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon in 1991 with a Diploma in Accounting.
